Beer garden weather is officially over, leaving it up to you to play host in the evenings. With programmes about cooking or baking on most days of the week, it’s likely that you’re inspired to experiment in the kitchen.
If you’re a bit of a novice chef, then the first thing you’ll have to do is buy some domestic appliances in Hampshire. So we decided to put together a list of what the different kinds of ovens are, so that you know what you need to cook up some delicious meals this autumn.
Single or Double Oven?
The amount of mouths you’re feeding most nights will determine whether you need a single or a double oven, as the latter has more cooking room.
In a single oven, there’s only one oven to bake, roast and grill in, but that’s not to say that room is limited – there’s usually enough space to cook most things. They’re able to fit in most places in the kitchen, so check the height of the appliance you’re looking to buy and whether it will fit into your room.
A double oven is taller than its single counterpart, meaning that there’s more cooking space.
Both ovens are available in gas and electric.
Under or On the Counter?
If you’re really pushed for space, then you may look at getting a table top cooker. Not only are they a handy space saver, they carry out the same function as a full-size oven. With hobs on top and a handy cooking area for one, these aren’t something to turn your nose up at if you have a very little amount of room.
Are There Any Other Ranges?
Funny you should ask, there’s actually a range cooker that you can invest in if you really want to make your dinner parties memorable. They come complete with two ovens, a grill and a hob to make sure that you have plenty of room to cook food for all of your guests!
You could even leave one course warm in the oven while serving up another one from another part of the cooker, fancy huh?
